Crystal Guardian

Luke Van Guard, a 18-year-old boy, hails from a family with a unique heritage in the "Gear'M Kingdom," a realm that combines the elements of magic and machinery. The Van Guard family has played a very important role as the Guardian of the Magic Crystal, in the Ancient Ruin Forest.

One day, while Luke's father was on patrol near the Magic Crystal, an incident occurred. “Mana Break” which happens when the Magic Crystal contains an excessive amount of mana, leading to an overload that results in an explosion.

This explosion caused a crack in the magic crystal, allowing mana to spread out rapidly into the surrounding area. The creature living near the crystal turned wild, their behavior driven by the sudden influx of uncontrolled mana. Luke's father injured in the explosion & couldn't survive the rampaging monsters.

The loss of Luke's father forced him to step up and take on the role of guardian at a young age. With the King’s order, Luke was dispatched to protect the Magic Crystal, as it served as the backbone of power for the Gear'M Kingdom.
